In the ix you can select usb as the record destination and as long as DR is “open” you can record a single camera independent of the internal limit of a minute.

Interesting - unlike iD7....

* Lots of improvements (iX, but apparently not i4, even with iD8)!

How much were the Mats? I’m trying to find them online to order and have them shipped to me.
Not easy to find iX accessories in general, but I got mine from this dealer (around $230/set F/B, plus shipping):

I’m tempted to see if my dealer can help me get some money off. I’m about to drop a lot of money in a car and mats lol

Dealer discount is definitely possible, and no shipping!

I saw the window shade a lil cheaper at anything auto. Also, wondering if I need a bag for my charger. I will be keeping it in my car

I just got a email about my window shade being delayed until the end of august
Already have: Key fob case, CoverCraft sunscreen, all-weather mats and cargo mat, and mini-USB-C flash drives. Plus some experimental headrest pillows to block the %#&@! functionless plastic "donut holes" in the front seats. And a ChargePoint wall box installed, if that counts. And looking for M Sport pedal covers that fit.
I didn't expect to, but my husband (5'6") hits those holes too. @Paladin1 can you tell me what pillows you tried and if they work? Thanks

I got these (mainly because they were fairly compact and had extension straps):

Amazon.com: Aukee Car Headrest Pillow with Genuine Leather Memory Foam Supplier Black ( Pack of 2 ) : Home & Kitchen

But, alas, no car yet to try them on. "In transit" on the US side....

Those look perfect but unfortunately no match to my interior

those wholes were the biggest fuckup i think in the car after the a/c heating controls!
Anyone who city parks a lot use one of those fold out bumper guards from the trunk when parked?

I used to with my Tesla M3 .. just curious if anyone does so here & has a brand/model they like on the iX..

I had some version of this previously, though it started to disintegrate after a couple years - Bumper Bully Platinum

There's also this line I haven't tried but have seen on street - ParkingArmor 4.8
I really wish the rear mat would be one long piece not two separate pieces. Not a very smart design since the middle part will get dirty in the winter. I hope someone else will make one piece design.

While my dealer tries to get me these rubber mats for the iX, I placed the luggage compartment mat from my X5 and it fit perctctly.

Is the key fob case made by BMW ?

I’d like to fit one to my key to protect it and replace the current metal ring that I worry make break the plastic hole in the key case.

How’s the headrest situation holding up?

Unfortunately that was a bust - too bulky on the headrest. Spouse sews, and she thinks she might have a solution, so standing by.

I’m still in the market
Did anyone that bought the all weather floor mats cut off that piece with the scissors on it? It seems like that’s what the instructions say to do, but I don’t really want to take scissors to a $100+ accessory and end up with jagged edges…

Also, why does it tell you to remove and throw out the old Velcro inserts and install the new ones? They seem to be the exact same.
