Spoke with my dealer today, and they said as of now, there is no way to add the drivers assistance professional if the iX did not come with it.

Driving assistant professional has different and more HW´s compared to Plus so it wont be possible to retrofit.
However
Parking assistant professional have the same HW as plus, so there might be a possibility in the future to add the professional functionality by purchase in connected drive store.

Without driving assistant PRO you are at least missing the short range radars, so its not a SW activation unfortunately.
On previous BMW models it was possible to retrofit hardware and basically add any functionality that was missing but the new models have a different approach for programming where BMW backend creates the files needed for a certain car. At this point i would say that there is no chance to retrofit anything to these cars.
