I am a iX40 Blue Ridge Mountain driver in the UK….have had my car for one month and now over 2100 mikes on the clock…..it’s the best car I have ever driven. Very relaxing to drive and a spacious luxury car to be sitting in. HK sound system is great and all the software systems work smoothly 98% of the time.

One tip, on any trip that requires charging top up on route, definitely plan your charging point and a back up 2nd point if the first isn’t working or is full. On route charging at a 150kWH rapid charging station normally takes 30 minutes to put 50kW into the battery including parking up, connecting & disconnecting….giving time for a short walk & pit stop.

I find the on board computer is reliable giving very accurate predicted journey times & state of charge at end of journey. Getting 3.1miles per kWh which gives me a realistic safe journey range of 220 miles on full charge in summer.

In my opinion, the iX was worth my 4 month wait from placing the order.

As a fellow UK owner same colour but iX50, I would confirm all what you have said I've had virtually no software issues but haven't installed apps that may create problems others have found.
Not so economic I'm on 2.6 m/kWh from factory Jan Delivery ordered March 21. Did a 380 mile journey Sunday 4 up with a good 100kg of luggage round trip Cornwall to Southampton and got 2.8m/kWh but that was motorway cruising with the traffic ~75-80mph 7 hours driving in total no aches such a comfortable car. 1 charge at Ionity Collumpton 35 min and ~70kWh Charger set as destnation showed 4% SOC when leaving Southampton arrived at the charger with 6% SOC (Kept an eye on charger availabilty was always showing 2 available) low SOC 190kW charging immediately
AC is brilliant keeps you cool with blasting cold air and the special windscreen helps I'm sure
