Apple car play keep dropping

Hi All
in my ix 50, i have an issue that apple car play connection keep dropping is specific places. say i'm passing a road in CBD and my car play disconnects at exact point that I drive everyday. It happens not only in one place but also 100 places with in the entire city mostly close to CBD.

I have tested android auto also exactly the same, so i consultant it with dealership at they said yes they have lots of complain about it not just iX but all BMWs with wireless apple carplay or android auto in Australia.

I don't know if there is a way to switch the system to use USB instead of wireless as this is very annoying or is there any other solution suggested by BMW.

Thats really weird, I'm driving in and around Brisbane CBD a lot (iX40) and never have any issues with carplay. I have an iPhone 13 pro and am running iOS 16.1

i'm in Perth and tried i40, M3 and ix and all the same, also dealer said they know about it !

It’s likely a 5ghz interference issue with the building you are going by. I drop it every time I go by a small airport nearby. I haven’t looked to see if there is a way for the car to use a different band.

its the case most likely, we need BMW to come up with a fix
