I believe this would be with the rear seats up.Anyone know if this rear boot space figure is with the rear seats up or the rear seats down?
It's annoying that BMW didn't add the storage space numbers in their press release. My guess is that It's got to be in the same ball park as the X5 (33.9 cubic feet) and X6 (27.4 cubic feet). It looks like this is only 500 litres with the seats up (less than iX3!). A bit disappointing, comparable to the PHEV X5 only.
They’ve published it on the U.K. spec website BMW iX (i20): Engines & Technical Data | BMW.UKIt's annoying that BMW didn't add the storage space numbers in their press release. My guess is that It's got to be in the same ball park as the X5 (33.9 cubic feet) and X6 (27.4 cubic feet).
Welcome to the forum @Gilles1106. Do you have a reservation for an iX? Or are you waiting to drive one first?500 litres is very disappointing for a 195 inch long car suv designed without fossil fuel compromises! Same as EQC which is not a bespoke BEV. Makes you wonder who they designed it for. Unless it's an amazing drive I'm waiting for the i5...
That's fair, never hurts to take the test drive. Which trim level are you most interested in?Thanks. I was close to reserving but now waiting for a test drive given doubts above. Eta November here in Geneva
