Reports are out saying that a iX M60 version could have as much as 560hp!

Is anyone considering getting a M60 when if/when it gets announced? That kind of performance is tempting.

But there is one model that hasn’t been communicated yet. The top iX variant is rumored to be labeled as the BMW iX M60 and will likely arrive in 2022-2023. The M60 is tuned by the M Performance Automobile Division so it’s expected to have a more aggressive bodystyle, along with some ride improvements. The power output is also the highest of the range, for a rumored 560 horsepower. This will be BMW M’s second-tuned electric car, after the upcoming BMW i4 M50.

Yes did consider waiting but my revised spec Xdrive 500 is upto £112,000 and I think this model will be in the range of £120,000 before extras so £130,000 plus for a well specefied car

The iX xDrive50 is already said to get an EPA-estimated maximum range of 300 miles, so for the M60 I think something over 325 but no more than 350 is likely.
Are you going to wait for the M60 to be available or get the xDrive50 that can be ordered now?

I am #1 on the pre-order list and will be ordering the iX 50... However, if the specs show any increase in range, I will very likely trade-in for the M60 when available. I am sure the performance will be fine. I will not sacrifice range for performance or aesthetics.
