Just got my iX today, super excited so far. But I am currently confused about its walk away lock.
I tried both iphone digital key & phycisal key, with walk away lock enabled, the car indeed locked when I walk away. But the system (screen, AC sound etc.) keep working unless I press the "BMW icon" button on the physical key.
Is there any setting mistake on my end? Thanks

I’ll double check when I get to my car but there is a setting that you have to select for the car to turn off after you closer the door, otherwise car may remain on if you didn’t turn it off manually

I remember it was locking/unlocking with walk away/in. Maybe I messed up the settings, it doesn't do it anymore. Do you guys know where would I find this setting?

Thank you, I already enabled Lock when walking away, and press stop button when leaving. But the car A/C, screen doesn’t shut off even after an hour

Just checked. In the doors and windows app, click on Lock/unlock and then you’ll see an option to turn off car on door close
