I like to share some facts about Turkey orders of iX. (Shared a bit in welcome topic as well)
I have placed my order a few days back with xdrive40. Informed arrival date is around middle of December. Currently it says under production on mybmw website. Reservation price is around 11k usd.
In contrary to rest of the world, unfortunately we pay a lot of tax for EVs. For example, I will pay 60% tax and 18% vat over the original costs. (1 year ago electric vehicle tax was 15%) Some more increase is on the pipeline as per news. Roughly I will pay a bit more than 180k usd for this car. In case of currency rate increases etc. this price may go up a bit more.
Additionally, we have one more disadvantage. Connected Drive services are closed in Turkey. This is again a government decision with the reason that related servers are outside of Turkey and it is against national security.

I am also surprised about xdrive 40 deliveries in USA to be around beginning of next year.
Additionally, my dealer says delivery to be around middle of December, but still no news about production and rest of steps.
Today I received some updates from a friend in Germany connected with BMW, as per his comments, things are going slow in the factories. This comment was not specifically for Dingolfing but we may see some delays.
Firstly, congratulations on ordering your new car. As it was scheduled to be delivered in December, did you get it? Can you please share your experience?
