After owning my iX for ~2.5 months, I've had a handful of "issues" that seem to resolve themselves (understandable with a new model release). However, one issue that has not gotten better/worsened after multiple service appointments is the "Camera Failure" error message which occurs ~75% of the time when driving/parking. Also, I get the occasional "Driver System Assistance Systems Turned Off". After multiple appointments, many idrive reboots/resets, and a few weeks with loaner; the dealer has updated software, checked/ realigned cameras, and replaced the camera control unit. They've also had BMWNA and BMW GmbH remotely "plug into" and try to troubleshoot/diagnose with no avail. My concern relates to to if/when this can be resolved. Any advice? Thanks

Following this...

I picked up my car on Friday and i have the camera failure some 50% of the time. I also get the "some driver assistance systems" message every time, but that is (I think from the one time i checked) because i have some of them turned off.

I'm in next week to get it looked at. Concerned that its not just me & they have been unable to fix yours...

I had this with my 2022 iX50 about three weeks after delivery. The front camera had failed and was replaced. Hasn’t been a problem since.

Looks like yours is the rear camera based on your picture. Have they tried replacing the actual camera?

Good luck!

Wondering how many more people are having this problem. Picked up a brand new M60 4 days ago and camera issues began on day 2. Car is already at the dealer with thei team scratching their heads. A little dissapointing, but let's see how long it takes them to figure the fix.

Update: Dealership installed 11/2022.25 and have tested the car 100x times with no failures. I've had the car for 24 hours with no issues. I don't want to say the problem is remedied, as time will tell.

And on a peripheral note, has anyone seen any OTA updates for iD8? It's been out well over a year, with at least 4 software updates of which I'm aware, and I've heard nothing about anyone receiving any of them OTA. On my X5 I think I had 3 updates in the first year.
