Cleaning screens

After three weeks of ownership my idrive screens desperately need a clean. Does anyone know how you can switch them off to clean them? Like a maintenance mode?

If you switch off the display it just comes back on when you touch it.

You could always turn the vehicle off..

If you press and hold the volume roller button when car is off, screens will go blank.
