Hi all

We have ordered the xdrive 40 msport in mineral white with sky lounge pack and mocha interior. We cannot decide on the final colour. We are torn between the mineral white and the blue. We were going to order an ipace in the blue before we changed our mind for the ix. We have seen the mineral white at our dealership and we loved how futuristic it looked and the contrast with the black detailing. Generally we love blue but we haven’t seen it on the ix. Our dealer had the phytonic blue on an x5 and it looked very traditional. But it would probably look different on the ix right?
What would everyone else’s preference be between the mineral white and the blue? If anyone has any pictures please send, would love to see them!

Here is Blue ridge mountain with Bronze trim, considered Phytonic Blue but in the flesh too dark for me

Looks great. The lady at the dealership recommended blue ridge. How are you getting on with yours? Are you enjoying it? Hopefully we won’t have to wait too long for ours!

Absolutely fine you didn't mention other options, you should definitely add parking professional plus this give you the surround camera otherwise you get bleeps and green red markers around the car and no front camera, it's big so you need them. I also have the laser lights significantly better than standard. I've driven iX's with and without these options and glad I have them especially the Panarama camera view also works in reverse

I almost switched my order color based on your pictures. That looks really nice. I ended up going Phytonic Blue/Amino Black leather interior.

I also was going this route but there are 2 similar coloured Merc's down our road !!

X3's are available in that blue perhaps you can find a X3 to view in that colour

Most definitely! I plan to head to the dealer soon to go over a few things. I have been driving a black Q5 for the past 10 years, so I am ready for a little color.

Mine is mineral white with black details (and suite castanea interior) and I am very happy with that choice. In the beginning I was more inclined to Sophisto Grey, but mineral white got my attention when I saw in real.

Well to be honest it looks much better in the flesh than in pictures and it is really great to drive. You won’t be disappointed 👍🏻

That looks really good. I think we are sold on that over the darker blue!

Thank you for the advice! I went to the dealer to check out the colors yesterday. I wasn’t really blown away by the darker blue. The dealer said I still have time to decide while I am in the preproduction line. I am leaning towards Blue Ridge or Red. It was also estimated that I should have my iX by sometime mid-summer. I was told the i4 is selling pretty well but this dealer has only had a handful of iX preorders so far. It will be interesting to see how the Schwarzenegger BMW electric Super Bowl commercial next week impacts preorders.
