Does anyone here have insight on which dealers have larger allocations for orders? I am trying to place an order, but after reading some threads here, it seems that the speed you get your car depends on which dealer you place the order with. Obviously, I'd like to get my car faster so if I have to play the "dealer" game I will. I am in the SF Bay Area, if that helps with context.

I lived in Mountain View and got the car last month after someone drop the order, you can try and contact Eric Peng the sales manager at Mountain View BMW, I know they have lots of new cars coming in, but I think it’s 2023 model, no more Bowers and Wilkins sound system l, you can call and it doesn’t hurt.

Did they request dealer markup for the cancelled order or were you able to get it for MSRP?

$100 above MSRP, which I think is reasonable give the current market

Yes, the car was $96,750, but they charge $96,760. You can tried and contact them to see if they have any available, also tried the Fremont BMW, both are owned by Auto Nation.

Allocations are how dealers get cars. The manufacturer shows the dealer what cars they have coming and then the dealer can specify things like
