Maybe thats the reason? Try to set it up with 15.x and see if its working out for you.

I've not been able to set up digital key on my iPhone 13 pro yet either, it keeps erroring out at 70% mark
I suppose I can try with my wife's iPhone 13 pro max to eliminate my phone as being the variable here

I picked up my car yesterday. Can't setup digital key on Android. It gives me compatibility error. Dealer told me to BMW Genius.

AFAIK, BMW hasn't set it up for Android yet (having ignored Android devices for just about every other smart phone feature in the past, but recently improving). But supposedly "coming soon." I'll wait right here....

It's been available for Android since December 2021 but on a very small number of devices.

I plan on trying it with a Note 20 Ultra and will report results. There can't be much functional difference between these phones - the S21 and Note 20 both run on Samsung's One UI 3 over Android 12....

I have Note 20 Ultra. Not much luck. Let me know if it works for you
