I am considering it, but I can't tell from the rendering it if is more red than brown. Would love to see real pics of the interior, so if you have one or have pictures of it from a dealership, I would love to see them.

I haven't touched but if it's like my BMW 750i, it's leather there too

Thank you, that looks more brown (which I would want) than red I have seen in some of the pics.

Was in the same boat - called around and found a dealership that had one in their showroom.
The one I saw was red-brown, very slightly more red than brown. The dash seemed to be leather just like everywhere else.

That picture is making me rethink my choice. I test drove an iX50 about 2 weeks ago and really liked the oyster (very light cream color) interior because it was so bright and cheerful. So when I heard from the dealer that I needed to confirm my order, I changed exterior to the red (which I saw on another car and thought would look great on the iX) and cream interior. But... that photo is really great looking, so I might go with that interior, as I prefer the lighter dash color (it's black with the oyster interior). Thanks for sharing.

I just went to the dealership and the dash is in leather (or if it's not it really feels like it is to the touch)

My iX50 will be Aventurine with oyster interior. I saw an iX50 with the Castanea last fall at an EV Expo and found it too dark for my taste. All of my cars have had white/light interiors so I am staying with the oyster which gives the look a good contrast with the Aventurine Red.

one thing I do like about Castenea Chestnut is it highlights the "floating screen" - as the dash is a different color. Only the two all leather options cover the dash, and the other choice is so dark it looks black (to me).
