Yes both a NEMA 14/50 (240v) and US standard 120v plug are included. But note that the 120v plug unfortunately is limited to only 10amps MAX. I guess BMW is overly concerned with folks overloading the typical 15amp circuit. Very unfortunate for those of us with a dedicated 20amp outlet in our garage. However, as most folks here have reiterated, the "average user" will find 120v much too slow for any practical usage whatsoever. Realistically you're looking at 3 miles range per hour charged, at most.

oh maybe I didn't make it clear...or i misunderstood your reply (but thank you for replying!) - I want to use the iX as a power source to provide electricity to something like my coffee machine or small appliance. The entire house is out of power and it will take 3 days to recover...

I learned some EVs have a 120v/240v plug outlet in the car...

No not with the BMW. To get a high wattage output you'll need something like the Ford Lightening PLUS a bi directional charger which I understand is at least another $15k outlay if not substantially more. It may well be commonplace several years down the road.

The best solution (future) is bi-directional home charger. There may be some on market now.
I understand your pain as our house south of SF has not had power for over 24 hours.

We're also been impacted by PG&E outage right now. I'm using a 12v-to-120v inverter with the iX's 12v socket to run the AT&T modem, wifi router, a lamp, and my phone/laptop charger. I was also able to get my tankless water heater working, but I have to disconnect the other devices to stay under the measly wattage limit. So, I cannot have hot water and internet at the same time. :ROFLMAO:
