I love my car. But, it does ride stiffer. I wonder if they will give us a comfort mode eventually to make it ride closer to the ix50 comfort ride? I miss the floaty feeling of the ix50 I test drove

I think that goes with the territory - same applies to "M" ICE models. A suspension tuned to flatten the car in turns and prevent "bounce," by default making it stiffer. There may be a way to reduce that with an air suspension and software, but I'm guessing not much. Probably different shocks at a minimum. An X5M is not as soft riding as an X5. Nature of the beast.
