Hi guys,

Driving Assistant Plus is now available for trial and purchase on the connected drive store in Canada 🇨🇦

I just downloaded and installed the driving assistant plus (3month free trial) on my iX today. This is the first time something new and extra is offered in the connected drive store here in Canada 🇨🇦 Finally!!

Just tested it…works like a charm, adaptive cruise control with steering asist.

I installed it last week and have been testing it. California. It is a little jerky at keeping lanes but not too bad. It can also automatically change lanes when you lightly move the turn signal, but if you try to go to the exit lane, it gets confused!

I found it on my connected drive store. It’s free to try for 3 months, then you need to pay to subscribe. Don’t really remember the exact number but I think it’s around Cad$1100 something for 3 years
What is "Driver Assistant Plus?" Is this the "Co-Pilot" atonomous driving up to 80 mph?

Weird.. I am in the US (Idaho) and have an iX M60.. I don't see it listed in the connected drive store..

Can confirm it is—I’ve got a 24 M60 with it and it’s pretty awesome.

Dang. I have a 2023 M60, guess that's why I don't have it?
Well if Canada is getting it as an option for purchase on 23’s hopefully the US ones will follow.

US is available since last October.

Huh.. I must not be able to get it on my 2023 iX M60. It should have had everything as it was fully loaded..

is there an option I can check In the car?
I have 2023 ix40 in Canada which was purchased 2 months ago and don’t have this “Connected Drive Store”. Any pointers how to get the store icon first?

Thanks.

If you are in Canada, you will have access to the ConnectedDrive Store via my BMW app, not in the car.
So I have a 23’ M50 a connected plus but only at under 40MPH! It’s pretty useless. I hope they offer up 80MPH in US. Anyone have lunch with it being available for over 40 MPH?

Does anyone know if the "hands free" Driving Assist (reference new i5 press release) is available for the 2023 iX xDrive50 with Connect Package Professional? I have the Active Driving Assistant Pro package and the Connected Package Pro included on my iX.
