I just received my car, but I found the front left of the car constantly drip water after a trip (even after a 10 min drive). I have the AC cooling open, and live in a dry state (north California), so hope it's just AC's condensed water, but want to see if anyone else has seen similar issue.

I also attached a video to show it's quite rapid IMG_2159.MOV

I see water dripping on and off. Not every trip. See it more on a hot day. I live in NJ and have been seeing 90F+ days recently. I also hear motor noice which appears to be AC related once car stops before locking. Noice goes away once the car is locked.

its the condenser from the AC,,,its normal on both ICE and EV cars. Also, I notice that sometime the AC runs quiet outside and sometimes its so noisy. One thing that have never made sense to me owning a bmw is that despite the fact that is it climate temp controlled, you also can control the fan speed. I have not figured out the right setting. If I lower the ac temperature the fan automatically increases as well as slows down when I raise the temp. It seems redundant to also be able to control the fan speed while the car is in "auto ac" mode. Usually, as soon as you adjust the temp while in auto mode, the auto mode turns off because you are modifying "auto mode". strange to me

Temperature and fan speed are independent settings in most cars I’ve owned. One sets the temperature and the other the speed at which the (cooled or heated) air will blow out.

In auto setting, you set the temperature you want and the car will control the fan speed and also whether it should be heating or cooling. I’ve known situations in previous cars where I‘m in a warm environment with the air conditioner running and set to auto at 22C. I then start to climb to a high elevation and the car switches heating because the temperature outside has dropped below the temperature I set for the car.

Maybe changing the temperature after activating auto tells the car you want to exercise manual control. I think it should not though and I’ve not known it to happen In previous cars.
