just curious to know if after the activation the HBA, would it remain ON even after switching off/on the car or if you have to enable it every time via the button + menus... The manual says it will resume ON after a "journey" interruption which sounds like if you park for a long time it will not work.

Also when you manually set high beam / low beam, how do you re-enable the HBA? Again through the button + menus?

I'm used to the HBA button of all other previous BMW which was very intuitive. Also had an Audi that enabled the HBA by pushing forward 1x the stalk, then push it again for High beam fixed and pulling back for normal low beam/HBA off.

thanks

From what I understand from the owners manual if you do manual high beam and back to low beam it disables the HBA. But then if you go to high beam again it reenables. Is it like this?

my Audi A4 was like this but in other bmw (incl the i4) you need to reenabke in the stalk button every time you manually intervene.
