When mounting the unit to the wall using the BMW mounting bracket, does the plug face out or in? It seems logical to me for the plug to face the wall so the charger can mount without a radical twisting of the supply cable.. (see photos). I had to orient the NEMA 14-50 plug 90º clockwise to limit the bend. Does anyone else have the same issue?

Additionally why would BMW provide a 14" supply cable? My previous JuiceBox 40 Pro unit had a 3 ft cable and therefore no issue.

I just posted about thee same thing. The dealer said the other demo car in the area has the plug facing outward also. I don’t understand why they have such a short plug facing the opposite direction of mounts on the box…

Here is a good way to secure and display the charger the correct way.

Same problem I’ve just ran into. There is no way to wall Mount the charger without twisting the wall plug in a very awkward angle that almost dislodges the plug from outlet. With all the technology that went into this car, how did BMW flub something so basic? 🙄
