I’d like to get the iPad holder. We have a current version 12inch iPad Pro but the sales rep thinks the attachment that fits to the back of the driver/passenger seat is for iPad 2/3/4 which seems very old.

has anyone got the attachment and does it work for current model iPads?

That would be crazy if so. Why put out a brand new model car that even has standard USB-c charging ports with an integrated feature designed to work with an accessory that only works on extremely outdated tech?

It's an old accessory that came out years ago, and works in multiple BMW models. It connects to the Travel and Comfort System.

There is a universal tablet holder that apparently works well that I'm considering getting: part number 51952408224

BMW brand mounts will support 99% of tablets out there...Probably up to 15-18" versions, all brands too
