So here’s a post that probably doesn’t make too much sense, but I wish I’d read it before buying an iX.

Yes, you can fit a full set of golf clubs in the trunk/boot if you remove the driver, fairways and hybrids.

I get two sets of clubs plus two folded trolleys in the trunk/boot.

My apologies for the random piece of information, but if you’re a golfer and a potential iX owner I this is useful !

Thanks for the info. I have an X6 now and I can get my bag in diagonally without taking any clubs out of the bag and I just expected I’d be able to the same with the M60. I usually test this out on a model before ordering but I was only able to do a quick test drive of an M50 that the dealership had for a few days before ordering mine. should Have mine in the week or two.

I have two sets in there so diagonally would not fit.

The rear door isn’t flat it’s slightly concave which provide a little bit more capacity.

I actually brought my golf bag + one driver to the dealer before I ordered my iX. Without rear seats folding down, I think it can fit one golf bag + foldable golf pushcart easily. See picture below.

For two golf bags + two pushcarts, you probably need put the rear sets down.

We get two bags and two folding trolleys in there. I will be fitting a couple of tension straps to the securing eyes at the back of the trunk/boot to hold them compressed* and in place.

*Compressed as the wet weather gear in the side pockets takes up room that can be compressed.

The drivers and fairways are lay on the passenger footwell.

Yeah the iX is terrible for golf, coming from F15 X5. I've had the iX for a month and I golf 3x a week. If you want to just throw the bag in, it's diagonal with full-length drivers. I really do miss the cutouts from the wheelwells like in most BMW ICE sedans and my X5.
