Test drive done yesterday, and I'm smitten. So confirming colour and options today.

I live in London and Waze often routes me through places that have width restrictions of 6'6" and 7'0"

I found the iX so amazing to drive that I'm not that bothered if it's too big for width restrictions.

However, for those of you who already have one, does it fit through width restrictions at all?

Went through two sets the other day, was bit nervous because couldn’t see clearly because the car is wide and tall and so had to rely on the collision beepers…..but no problem, as said I took it slowly to the frustration of a much smaller car behind me.

@Legin Do you not have the 360/surround camera option? Ignore the cars behind you.

You have to protect your pride and joy. Do you have the 21 or 22 inch wheels? I am going to order today and will go with the 22 inch wheels (the 21s would offer a larger sidewall) but given the car will have the 360 camera, I am hopeful that I can use the technology to avoid kerbing the rims in tight situations.

@Legin The 360 camera is standard for new orders now. I had it on my old car, and I wouldn't get a car without it now.

Yes, the HK system is incredible. It's so clear and so loud!

The iX is the best car I have ever driven. So relaxing to drive when using all the driver assist features, I call it autopilot driving!

It’s like sitting in an armchair and I just turn the hex wheel in the direction I want to go and let the onboard computer do it’s thing 90% of the time. I find the hex driving wheel is fine and enables the driver to see the control display

Occasionally I put my foot down to get ahead of slow cars and it’s like a rocket.

My iX Sport colour is Blue Ridge Mountain with black sennsetec seats. Get nice comments.
