There is no performance benefit for bolt on carbon pieces over plastic ones for the wheels, not much change in rotational weight (ffs just get proper lightweight wheels in the first damn place!) for optimized gyro nimbleness or overall lightweighting. Not much point in lightweighting a 2.7 tonne vehicle with a few kilos here or there. Aero gains though is a real whole other matter, and goes to efficiency and making wheels as aero as possible has real benefits for range increase. But again, no difference in carbon fibre looking / fake carbon coloured plastic pieces...
Im not gate keeping, people personalize their vehicles in many ways, have at it. Dont understand that myself, would rather buy actual functional / value beneficial wheels. Or actual Carbon wheels might be good but likely none rated for this vast bulk of a whale...
