I'm very interested to see if the North American models will have similarly priced options. Are these the options you went with @ICS_UK?

Very cool. Nice configuration.

Thanks for sharing.

My dealer contacted me too to think about options. I didn’t like the AC charging speed, which is 11kw apparently with no 22kw option. Quite a few supermarkets and other commercial sites in the UK and Europe have free 22kw AC chargers and there is a big difference between getting 22kwh during a shop/ lunch and 11kwh.

There is a laser headlight option that gives you the selective (matrix) headlights.

The 11kW is only if you have a 3 phase supply at home / office so for most of us it will just be 7.4kW or 21 miles per hour charging.

I think the Type 2 "fast "AC upto 43kW will be phased out and you'll be able to get to a rapid/ultra rapid charger more easily

We all go on about cost per mile for electricity even at £69 per per kWh 13p/mile its peanuts compared to the cost of ownership which is likely to be around 200p/mile especially my spec.

Congrats @ICS_UK! The Alpine white and Oyster interior should look great. Were there any features/packages you didn't add to your iX? Or is this fully loaded?

Driving Assistant Professional
Std all models
Camera and radar-based driver assistance system consisting of:Lane Keeping Aid (lane departure and lane change), front collision warning with brake intervention, rear crossing traffic warning with brake intervention, Safe Exit, rear collision prevention and Speed Limit Info with no-overtaking indicator and pre-warning including manual Speed Limit Assist. - Lane Departure Warning - at speeds above approx. 70 km/h, Lane Departure Warning detects lane markings and helps prevent inadvertent departure from the lane by transmitting perceptible vibrations via the steering wheel as a warning. Suppressed when indicators are active or the indicator stalk is held in the 'short on' position (desired lane change). Display in the instrument cluster.Lane Change Warning with activer return, permanently monitors the zones to each side of the vehicle, detects vehicles in the "blind spot" from 20 km/h and faster when intending to change lanes (indicator is activated or stalk is held in 'short on' position), haptic warning via the steering wheel (vibration) and flashing symbol in the exterior mirror as well as return to the lane via active steering intervention. Warnings can be issued when turning (e.g. U-turn) in the low speed range up to approx. 20 km/h.- Front collision warning with brake intervention consists of approach control / person warning with city braking function and enables: warning and braking within a speed range from approx. 5 km/h to 85 km/h (for vehicles) and within a speed range from 5 km/h to 65 km/h (for persons and cyclists). Also reacts to stationary target objects. If an accident cannot be avoided completely, the city braking function helps to reduce the impact speed through a braking intervention and hence, the severity of the accident. Approach control warning also warns of potential collision with a vehicle ahead at higher speeds (>85 km/h), with preconditioning of the brakes for faster brake response and shorter braking distances. Operation by means of a button in the control unit for driver assistance systems.- Crossing-traffic warning rear - supports the driver, for example, when reversing out of parking spaces and brakes to avoid potential collisions with intersecting traffic in situations where it is difficult to see everything around them.
  • Rear collision prevention detects the threat of rear collisions via rear sensors and warns the traffic behind via the hazard warning lights (flashing in double frequency). Preventive measures will also be taken in unavoidable accident situations (e.g. belt tensioning, closing windows, etc.).- Speed Limit Info with display of speed limits further ahead and no-overtaking indicator as well as manual Speed Limit Assist which enables the adoption of a detected speed limit as a set speed for the Speed Limiter function as well as cruise control. - Steering and lane control assistant assists in keeping to the middle of the lane at speeds of 0–210 km/h through corrective steering interventions and relieves the driver of monotonous driving tasks (in particular in traffic situations, traffic jam assistant). In narrow passages on motorways (e.g. road works), the steering assistance ensures that a proper distance to vehicles at the sides and lane markings is maintained. The driver is requested to keep both hands on the steering wheel during vehicle guidance to ensure that they are paying attention and able to react if necessary. If this is not complied with while the vehicle is being controlled by the traffic jam assistant, the control is deactivated after a few seconds, and the driver is requested to take control of the steering (take-over request). The function can be overridden at any time.- The Emergency Stop Assistant is capable of controlling the vehicle for a short time and stopping it in the event of a medical emergency. This can be overridden at any time by actuating the accelerator, steering wheel and other controls. Additionally, the hazard warning lights are activated, and the rescue services are automatically alerted via a legal emergency call.- Automatic Speed Limit Assist combines SLA and SLI with Active Cruise Control. It enables the automated, predictive adoption of a detected speed limit into the approach control (Active Cruise Control with Stop&Go function).
  • Lane Change Assistant as part of the steering/lane control assistant, for comfortable/automatic lane changing in the speed range between 70–180 km/h via a long press of the turn indicator. The lane change can be overridden at any time. Additionally in combination with active approach control (Active Cruise Control with Stop&Go function): system adapts the driving speed to that of the vehicle in the target lane. Upon completion of the lane change, LSA takes over lateral guidance again.
'- Approach control (Active Cruise Control with Stop&Go function) up to 210 km/h- Lane Keeping Assistant with active side collision protection assists the driver in keeping in lane and actively preventing potential side collisions by means of corrective steering interventions within the 70 km/h to 210 km/h speed range (Lane Change Warning and Lane Departure Warning, side-collision warning). A visual warning is displayed in addition to the active steering intervention, and the steering wheel vibrates. Applies to Lane Change Warning and Lane Departure Warning from approx. 20km/h.- Front/rear crossing traffic warning: brakes in the event of crossing traffic while leaving/entering a parking space as well as while turning into crossing traffic in situations with restricted visibility. (up to 7km/h) Depending on vehicle configuration, information is shown in the camera display (panorama/Surround View) or in the PDC display.- Evasion Assistant assists in critical approach situations when evading is still possible (available between 30 and 160 km/h). Reacts to vehicles ahead and pedestrians.- Road Priority Warning: assistance with visual/acoustic warning of a potential collision with intersecting traffic. Active at up to 85 km/h.- Wrong-way Warning detects "no entry" signs on motorways and issues a visual/acoustic warning. Please note: system scopes included the optional equipment only provide assistance within defined system limits. It remains the responsibility of the driver to react to the actual traffic situation.

Parking Assistant
Std all models
'Camera and ultrasound-based assistance system consisting of:- The parking assistant facilitates manoeuvring into parallel and lateral parking spaces as well as confined parking bays. For this purpose, the system measures potential parking spaces while driving by at speeds below approx. 35 km/h even without prior activation. After displaying the information in the central display and activation by the driver, the parking assistant completely takes over vehicle control by steering, braking and shifting (only in combination with automatic transmission). Activation when reverse gear is engaged or transmission position "R" is selected or manually by button at speeds below 35 km/h. The function can be overridden by the driver at any time.- The Reversing Assistant saves the last 50 m of an entry path taken by the driver themselves while driving forwards at a speed of up to 36 km/h in order to follow this path while reversing upon request by the driver. The driver remains responsible for longitudinal guidance via the accelerator and brakes (speed below 10 km/h) and for monitoring the vehicle surroundings to avoid collisions with objects in the vicinity.- Active Park Distance Control for prevention or minimisation of damage while reversing into parking spaces (at up to 5 km/h) with reaction to collision-critical obstacles towards the rear and sides. If the accelerator is depressed and an obstacle is detected, the function brakes initially to alert the driver. If the accelerator is not depressed and the distance to the obstacle is very short, the function applies the maximum possible braking force up to a complete standstill.- PDC facilitates manoeuvring into and out of parking spaces using acoustic and visual distance warning of obstacles at the front and rear. Obstacles are displayed as coloured markers in the schematic view of the vehicle on the central display. At distances < 25 cm the acoustic signal switches to a steady tone. Due to Auto PDC, the function automatically activates at a speed of < 4 km/h, when the vehicle starts to drive forwards from a distance of 0.6m to the vehicle ahead or from a distance of 1.5m while reversing. PDC can be deactivated manually.- Lateral Parking Aid assists in damage minimisation while manoeuvring. Based on information from the PDC, the system memorises obstacles while driving past and shows their distance to the vehicle
- The rear view camera supports the driver when reversing into a parking space and manoeuvring at speeds below 20km/h by showing the area to the rear of the vehicle on the control display. Interactive tracer lines show the vehicle's trajectory. In combination with PDC, distance information is displayed inside the camera image. A zoom function for the trailer tow hitch facilitates backing up to couple a trailer. The camera is activated by engaging reverse gear. - Parking: Start-up monitoring prevents collisions with obstacles when parking. This function can reduce the driving speed when driving forwards and brake while reversing.
Please note: system scopes in the optional equipment only provide assistance within defined system limits. It remains the responsibility of the driver to react to the actual traffic situation.
