if this a regular USB port, where is this located on 2022 iX 50 ? I only see the charging USB-c ports between the front cup holders. Thanks

There are no USB-A ports in the car. There are like...6 USB-C ports I think? 2 between the front cupholders and 2 behind each headrest.

The USB ports between the cupholders are both data ports and charging ports. Not sure about the ports in back of the seats.

If you really need USB-A ports, this power convertor would work. I've had it for my Jeep Wrangler but it fits nicely in bottom of center glove box while plugged into front 12v socket.

I literally just came here to look for this exact thing. I guess you can use a usb hard drive/ssd with a right-angle adapter then velcro it somewhere.

There are also a wide variety of simple USB-C to USB-A (female) solutions on Amazon.

I don't think the issue is the type of connector (ever increasing number of USB-C devices, and plenty of A/C hybrids). The issue is the number of data ports - particular not having at least one in the center console well, a la the other "X" series.

Does anyone know if there is a maximum size(32 gb, 64 GB, 128 gb, 512 GB or 1 GB) that is supported by the iX Drive Recorder?
