Thanks. Confirms my suspicion as I could not locate any USB-A port. Appreciate your reply. There are no USB-A ports in the car. There are like...6 USB-C ports I think? 2 between the front cupholders and 2 behind each headrest.
ThanksOnly the ports in the front work for recording with Drive Recorder.
If you really need USB-A ports, this power convertor would work. I've had it for my Jeep Wrangler but it fits nicely in bottom of center glove box while plugged into front 12v socket.Thanks. Confirms my suspicion as I could not locate any USB-A port. Appreciate your reply.
There are also a wide variety of simple USB-C to USB-A (female) solutions on Amazon.I literally just came here to look for this exact thing. I guess you can use a usb hard drive/ssd with a right-angle adapter then velcro it somewhere.
Does anyone know if there is a maximum size(32 gb, 64 GB, 128 gb, 512 GB or 1 GB) that is supported by the iX Drive Recorder?Only the ports in the front work for recording with Drive Recorder.
