Longevity of Tires and Thoughts

So, the first service is due in 2 years - love it!!!

hence the question: What do we do with tire rotation???

are we supposed to come in every 5k miles for a swap? or just ride them out until they are bold after 20k miles and replace? (i have the 20" ones, but I think its a fair question for all sizes).

thoughts anyone?

I just conducted a quick online search and one of the threads suggests this:

"We've indicated above that many BMW models will require tire rotations every 5,000-7,500 miles. But that's more for front-wheel-drive models. If your BMW has xDrive all-wheel drive, you'll probably want to do tire rotations every 3,000-5,000 miles."

Hope this helps.

Good Luck!
Not necessary on electric propulsion AWD models... there is no mechanical connection between front and back axle. Usually rear wheels will wear much faster than front. BMW IX also uses torque preload between axles when both of them are running.
