After seeing the excellent results that IheartM at Bimmerpost had with his Storm Bay Metallic with XPEL Stealth I decided I wanted to do the same.

The car has full XPEL PPF, Stealth on the body colour areas and clear glossy on the black areas. We did not touch the kidney area as it might interfere with it and that is self healing away. XPEL Ceramic Coating was applied over the top for ease of washing and maintenance.

I'm super pleased with the results and as IheartM says you get even more attention in the iX than before.

Stealth also gives very different looks depending on the sun and lighting conditions. With dark cloudy skies it almost goes a smokey silver colour (see pics below), in the sun more of the Storm Bay blue-grey comes through.

Yeah around that price but in NZD, with the ceramic coating, so sounds like it's a bit cheaper here.

Hi! Looks great. I'm waiting ix the same color. Black glossy elements pasted over with a transparent film?
Yeah it’s full XPEL PPF — Stealth on body colour, gloss on the black parts. We did not cover the kidney grills though. The car was then coated with XPEL ceramic coating with the exception of the windscreen.
