I've always liked fast german cars.

I've owned two generations of Audi S4, a BMW M3 (E46 with the SMG box), an Audi RS5, and two generations of Mercedes C63 (my current motor).
I knew my next car we was going to be an EV - and thought it was going to be an e-Tron Coupe.

But then I got a dog.

So I decided I'd keep the C63 and get an electric SUV. I test drove them all, but put off my decision making until the IX was available to try. Now my IX is on order -- and may be coming sooner than I expected as I just had a call from my dealer. It may be here next week!

Did you order a 40 or 50? Was it custom to your spec? I ordered mine in November and won't be here until May!!

I ordered a 50, with pretty much every option in the first week of December. No confirmed date to receive (obviously). My dealer called and said that BMW had one which had just become available if it could be registered this year (ie 2021) - the spec was very similar to mine, but a couple of bits missing so I jumped on it. I guess it was a cancelled order or a demonstrator that had been pre-ordered.

I should get it early next week (cash transferred to dealer today)

Congratulations!! @Jabes , we just got delivery (needs to shipped to our island ) at BMW of Honolulu! We were so lucky , similar scenario!
