Hello, I own a BMW i3 and plan to upgrade to an entry-level iX SUV
On my list was the iX3 but that's no longer happening locally!

My dealer doesn't know what BMW has planned so I'm here trying to find answers and learn more.

Yes, the X3 is to be sold I have only place for one car in the common garage - that will be the iX

I currently own two G01 X3s (a 30i and an M40i).

The 30i is being replaced by an iX -- but since it's such a long wait to get one in the USA, I am consoling myself by having an electrician install next Tuesday two 60A conduits to the garage and hardwiring one to a ChargePoint 50A EVSE. I'm gonna be ready to slam power into the iX 110kW battery at a full 11kW (48A).

In the meantime, I'm gonna let my friends charge up their puny 65kW batteries in their single-motor EVs.

I owned two BMW X5's with M packages and had planned to build an 2022 X6M, until I saw the iX in camouflage and became intrigued. So, on 8/18/2021 I pre-ordered the 2022 iX50. I had a chance to do two test drives, which only made the wait time seem even longer. It was like driving at warp speed. I accepted delivery of my iX50 on 6/3/2022. Not to be outdone by his wife, my husband also pre-ordered his iX50 on 8/18/2021. He accepted delivery on 6/30/2022. He owned an Audi A6 Prestige before he joined the BMW family in 2019 by buying an X3 m40i.

Greetings - I ordered the iX 50 from BMW Portland (as in Oregon) on May 1st 2022 nearly 3-1/2 months ago. The date for a production number keeps slipping. I’m hoping to get the vehicle by November 2022. Anyone with a similar experience?
