Absolutely loving my new ix50 but a couple questions remain:

1) for seat presets, in all iX’s I’ve seen the memory and passenger number exist next to the crystal knobs for changing the seat positions. Mine has the seat knobs, but does not have the preset buttons on the door and I cant seem to locate how to set seat positions in any of the menus.
2) I thought all iX’s come with massage seat option, but not finding this option. Same question for ventilated seats
3) as a first time EV owner, not sure how regen breaking works. Is this automatically happening or is this a setting?
4) I like to drive in Sports mode. Will the car “learn” what mode I prefer and default to it over time or do I have to select it each time?

Can you post pictures of what you’re seeing on your end?

As for massage seats, no not all come with it nor ventilated seats. Regen can be adjusted in the driving menus, I personally use light regen on D and use B for stop and go or as a “speed brake” when coming off the highway ramp.

Sadly the car always seems to default to a certain mode and has to be set on each drive.

The Comfort Seats have all the bells and whistles - conversly the Standard seats do not have Seat Cooling with Perforated coverings, Seat Massage, Electric Lumbar & Seat Memory.

For regen you need to set what you prefer in ID. I drive in Mode D with adaptive Regen set and Cornering Speeds set to low. In this mode I get to Coast efficiently and the car slows automatically with me only having to brake when coming to a standstill or approaching a slower car approaching a junction.

Unfortunately, you cannot set Sport Mode or Efficient Mode as Default Modes in this version of ID8 - which is annoying so like most people I set my preferred mode select via a gesture so it is very easy to switch when setting off.
