We received our iX 50 yesterday. Very exciting but we had a major issue today (see my other thread).
Absolutely bananas. So my previous 2023 iX 50 (ordered last August) is still waiting at the VDC in California since Feb 16. The new 2024 I ordered instead, is at stage 150 and scheduled to be build and completed around April 21. Will see how it goes.
Finally here. Managed to get some floor mats and the rear cargo mat thrown in for all the extra waiting. Love it so far. View attachment 3802

I love the black! I was so close to ordering black but I have been driving black bmws for the past six years. It looks great though! I got the Phytonic blue. Finally here. Managed to get some floor mats and the rear cargo mat thrown in for all the extra waiting. Love it so far. View attachment 3802

Can I ask what city you are located in? My iX50 was built in December and has been sitting at the BMW Vehicle Processing Center in Oxnard California since Feb. 16th. Just this past weekend my VIN flipped to "Remedy Available. 0 Recalls", so I was happy to see that. I imagine it's just a matter of a few days before it arrives to my dealer in Torrance/South Bay LA. (The Tesla Model X was calling my name all month, but I woke up again this weekend once I saw my vehicle was fixed!!)Mine is sitting at the processing center showing "Remedy Not Available" for the air bag issue. I'm hoping an air bag just hasn't been reserved for it yet but it will happen quickly. This car was built in October and I feel like that's quite a long time to be sitting. However, I can see that folks have similar and even longer wait times.
Same, waiting on carrier assignment. Praying another recall doesn’t mess this up before it gets here.Nice!! I was told my car was fixed and released to carrier on Friday, tracker still shows "At the port", no word from SA, so probably still waiting for transport. Hopefully I get to take delivery before another recall 😅
I'm late to the game. I'm in Georgia and have a deposit on an iX that was already built and sitting at the processing center (I think in Florida). I got the bright idea to buy an iX late and needed to catch the $7,500 rebate. Can I ask what city you are located in? What rebate? Are you leasing? I don't think the iX is eligible for the $7,500 EV tax credit last year.I'm late to the game. The $7,500 is available via a lease due to the lease loophole. BMW is passing it to lessees. However, a lot of dealers won’t give it to you unless you know to push them on it.What rebate? Are you leasing? I don't think the iX is eligible for the $7,500 EV tax credit last year.
I got this rebate as well. Leasing for three years. The $7,500 is available via a lease due to the lease loophole. BMW is passing it to lessees. However, a lot of dealers won’t give it to you unless you know to push them on it.
