My first BMW, but third EV. Last week, our new IX was put aboard a ship in Germany on its way to Southern California. It will be my wife’s primary driver. She has been driving our 2 year old Mach E, but wanted something more comfortable for her retirement. Blue Ridge Mountain color with Mocha interior. We bought from a dealer nearly 100 miles away because the closer dealers refused to sell to us at MSRP last year and this dealer was also willing to accept a binding purchase agreement so we could qualify for the US EV Tax Credit before the IRA took effect. The closer dealers were oblivious to that provision in the bill. I so appreciate this Forum, with all the comments, tips, training, and information!
