The last BMW I owned was the 2014 M5. I defected to Mercedes and Porsche for a bit.

Am excited for the first luxury mid size SUV EV that has competitive range and features. The Audi ETron never had much appeal to me given the cheap interior and poor range. The BMW iX looks awesome.

Ordered it in Red/Chestnut with all the options. Can’t wait!

Yes. Personally I don’t find the Q4 that compelling either. It’s a lot like VW ID4.

I get the impression that Audi’s interiors are being cheapened to save weight. Eg the Q8 has stitched leather on the doors and dash. The ETron does not. Neither does the Q4 ETron. Feels like Audi is going back to their own ways. The Mercedes eQ cars on the other hand have just as much detail and luxury as the ICE Models. I think BMW too.

Nice - congratulations! This will be my 18th BMW (2 M5s, 3 7 series, a number of other 5 series going back to a 1600 and then 2002 in the late 70s), but I have had a Jag iPace for the past 2.5 years (and dabbled in MB as well in the past), which has been quite a nice car, fun performance, but still a Jag, meaning that it's occasionally buggy, electronic interface is so-so, and the real range is around 200 miles. No substantive complaints, though - it performs well, is fun, and has been a great first non-ICE car.

Ordered mine in the Aventurine Red also with oyster interior. My salesman said that I will have to wait 10 additional weeks for the Red. My husband ordered Phytonic Blue and will not have additional wait time.
