I got my new iX 50 a couple days ago and the parking camera and sensors have failed a couple of times with the error message parking camera failure. It resolves itself randomly as well. Is this something that’s an expected bug of a new car or should I get it checked with BMW Service? Has anyone else experienced this yet?

I picked up my iX50 in Feb of this year, and after about two weeks I experienced the same fault, however it didn’t resolve itself. My front parking assist camera failed completely and needing replacing.
No problems since replaced (other than the annoying HUD issue described in my other posts).
If it persists, I’d book it in to your dealer/mechanic. Good luck!
