It does and offers bay parking or parallel - I think those who purchased plus and have the hardware will get an OTA update in March which will probably include the Pro option the plus I paid for was £995 so it maybe FOC. There is a write up somewhere on thisHi,
I am expecting delivery of my iX40 in the first week of Mar. I have included the "parking assistant plus" option, which has the 360 degree view, front camera and interior camera. I noticed that the configurator now provides an option to also select "Parking Assistant Pro" ("Plus" is £750, and "Pro" is £1050). The "pro" option was not there when I ordered in Oct 21.
@ICS_UK , I read your post on another thread, where you recommended the parking assistant plus and noticed you posted a picture of the view as well. Hoping you can answer (didn't want to deviate into a different topic on that thread), I wanted to ask - does the "parking assistant plus" also feature automated park (parallel/lateral) when passing an empty space in a parking lot? I am unable to confirm this on the BMW site.
All previous models of BMW and after viewing several online videos... The "parking assistant plus with surround view camera" did do automated parking, but I am not sure if the iX does this, or if it does it in the UK models, etc. Since you already have the car and option - hoping you can clarify.
Anyone else too who have received their cars.. outside of UK? Do you have the "parking assistant plus" option and does this do "automated parking" (you push the parking button, car scans a space, once you confirm.. the car steers itself into the spot).

Actually found this on a BMW press release, pretty cool but again vague.
BMW model update measures as of spring 2022.
