How do you turn on the rear camera? When I leave my garage, I like to have a view of it closing to ensure it’s closed and no neighborhood animals snuck in for a nap.

Rear Camera is selected when you are in reverse. Try 3D view - Click on appropriate view - if it works set as a shortcut

Our x7 turns on the camera when you get close to something in the front. Not sure why that wouldn’t be available on iX

So does the iX you get a bumper view when about a foot away and the car stops dead to avoid hitting whatever is there

Remenber the question was how can I see if my garage door has closed
Easiest is just flip it into reverse to get the rear view

iX front camera when you are getting close flips to this view, great for those high kerbs
