The rear climate defaults to 22 degrees celsius on every restart of the car. This is too hot and on precondition the cabin is uncomfortably warm as a result.

Does anyone also experience it not remembering the last temperature or know if there is a setting I have missed?

Thanks. Menu allows me to set from the front and lock but tried those and still defaults to 22 even when locked.

In that case, you may want to contact the dealer and they will send a technician who can explain how to manage that part. I believe they can help you over a phone call too.

Thanks, was looking for experience of someone who has an iX to see if a one off with mine or an issue across all so that can talk to BMW technical if needs and raise.

This. The rear climate will activate to the temperature you set for the car globally (hence "default") every time you start the car unless "default" is deselected. Turn off default, then set the temp.
