Safety Camera info randomly deactivates

I had the same issue so reached out to customer services on Thursday last week. Their response on Monday was:

“This is a known issue as many others are having a similar problem. I have added your vehicle to the list of those affected and you'll receive a Remote Service Update when this issue is either updated or resolved so keep a look out for that.

There is no current time scale for a resolution at this time, so we thank you for you patience in this matter as we investigate this issue.

I apologise I couldn't be of further assistance, but I do hope this helps clarify your issue. If there's anything else I can help you with in the meantime, please get back in touch.”
@Dee In that situation, I think it would be fair and reasonable to ask BMW UK for a refund on the speed camera annual subscription, given that there is no time scale for the resolution.

As per the title, I’ve purchased the subscription and all worked fine, however…

I’ve just driven to Wales and upon arriving I thought I hadn’t seen any Alerts on the M4 where I know there are cameras.

When I stopped, I looked at the settings and safety cameras had its toggle set to deactive.

i changed the setting and when I completed my next journey I looked again and it was again deactivated.

Anyone know why this maybe? Thanks
@TheBook I have had the same issue recently too.

However, pleased to report that the issue has gone away all of a sudden this morning, when the speed camera alerts are now showing on the HUD again!

It appears overnight there was some kind of app updates in the car (not a full blown over the air update) and maybe that's what has fixed it.
