[Bmw ix40]

Hi so today i was in a garage and i opened the trunk and it got slammed into the ceiling leaving a 1 cm scratch right at the top of the logo (damage was on the bump around the logo) does anyone have any suggestions on paint correctors or anything that would make it a little less obvious. Its color is sapphire black metalic.

I've heard that some dealers will just give you a touch up stick if you ask.

There are a few scratch removers that are universal and blend with the original color. You can conduct a quick search on Amazon.

I scratched my trunk lid as well while opening - the panel is huge and can get in the way quite easily. Had to send it back for paint job with one of the local shop and thereafter, had them reapply the ceramic coat again.

I adjusted the height of the lift gate because it opened up way too high. I think mine is on level 3.
