Hi! I recently ordered an iX1, and right after that, the news dropped that BMW disabled integration with Home Assistant. My question is - even without the BMW integration, is it still possible to control charging just using a smart wallbox?

I buy electricity at spot prices, and I’m based in Latvia.

I’m thinking about getting the Wallbox Pulsar Plus.

Yes. I have the Charge Point smart charger and I don't have my iX control any of the charging, except the maximum charge. My charger begins charging at 23:00, whenever my car is plugged in (that's my super-off peak rate time) and will charge until 07:00, or until the car stops charging at 80%.
