Edmunds shared a couple of tweets about things they don't like with the iX. Kind of low hanging fruit here but I concede the grille and lack of frunk is going to bug a bunch of people.

Anyone agree/disagree with them?

As previously stated a few weeks ago I don’t like the Grille. But I like everything else about the Car and when I’m driving I won’t be looking at the Grille. I still put down a Deposit. Anxious to see the list of Options. I’m a long time BMW owner and like the Brand. My current 2006 325xi has 102,000 miles and still runs like it’s new.

How long have you had your 325xi? Are all those miles from you?

The grill does not bother me. I would be curious to see what it would look like with a smaller grill. I must admit, I did not like the first time a saw a large grill on the Lexus SUV. I definitely think the lack of a frunk is a faux pas. What are they using that space for?

They're using the space for the front electric motor and electronic controls.

The windshield fluid nozzle is hidden behind BMW’s classic, blue-and-white “roundel” logo on the hood, and the rear roundel pivots to spray water and clean the camera sensor just below. Yet there’s no front storage frunk (front trunk), as in many EVs, with BMW using that underhood space for its electric motor and electronic controls.
