It's just become a thing to complain about the nose like Audi and Lexus don't exist. BMW is not the first to design a rather large grill. I think it looks good.

Teslas are basically sardine cans. You can hear all the traffic around you, the semi 4 cars behind, the wheels bouncing beneath, and the wind hitting every exterior surface. It's a miserable experience. The iX is a proper car.

Agree 100%. I currently have a 2021 X45e and it looks dated. If the haters don't like the grill then don't buy it no one is asking them to.

I agree with you. The iX looks good. Get a bit sick of so many making a fuss about the front look. As you say, there have been big 'grills' on Lexus and Audi for ages. If I had one comment it is that the 'slab side' is a bit boring, and allows for funny reflections. Surely they could have put some folds in metal without ruining the .25 'slipperyness'. Good to have a disintinctive fresh new design, from BMW. We have had X5 before, but went to a VW Touareg because we wanted a change. Now we are going back to BMW.

I think that people look at pictures, and make a choice. I find that in person, the car is more attractive. Oddly, many of the reviewers of the car still talk about the grill, but note that in person, they are not offended by it. I have always liked BMW, my first car was a 1987 635csi, then 95 M3, and then 2000 M5. I left the brand when I got married had some kids, but am now coming back. Bought an X7 last week for my wife, and my iX50 should be here this fall. Cars to me are like houses, they sell themselves, they appeal to who they appeal to for whatever reason they do. I don't buy a car hoping to impress the person in the car driving near me, it is about what I like to drive and what speaks to me.
