My IX50 is my first contact with bmw and I’m used to navsystems showing traffic/speed cameras up ahead. I can’t find that this function is available in idrive 8, am
I right or am I missing something?

This is the only thing I’m missing in the car, other from that the car is FANTASTIC!
Unbelievable silent, drives like a dream and have everything you can wish for when it comes to tech!

In the UK this is a purchase option through the connected drive portal on the BMW app. Cost is £20 per year in the UK (approx €25 Euro)

That was my guess, but I cant find it there.
I have all available connected services and nothing more is possible to select.
I will talk to my contact at BMW and see what he have to say

most likely you don't have it in Sweden same in Finland we don't have it

Correct, I just talked to my contact at BMW. This is not available in Sweden...strange, i had this function in my volvo
I'll survive without.
