Wallbox charger error

My ix40 wallbox charger is showing a continuous red light so what can I do to fix this as I have switched it on and off and it shows no sign of hope.

I had the same issue with a Wallbox for an X3 30e. After working initially, it would turn red on every charge. Worked until I synced their app. Wallbox customer service asked a lot of questions, wanted to know about the install, etc. they ended up sending a new one. The current one works 75% of the time. Seems to depend on what point I plug it in after turning the car off. Or if the battery is drained… either way, frustrating but I just reset the breaker and it works. You might have a defective unit or wiring/breaker size/ground is messed up. There is a dial in the Wallbox to choose charging amp limits, too. Good luck

I should point out it’s a Wallbox branded charger, not a BMW charger.

I have the same issue with my BMW WallBox Gen3 from the beginning. First it blue, but immediately after charging (tested on 2 different cars) it turnst to steady red. Total refusal for support from BMW or dealer who sold me this. They insist that installation must be done from qualified installer. I have debug file with errors, but nobody knows what do they mean.
