Android digital key plus stopped working

The digital key plus was working fine just like the key fob, until around August 7th or 8th., when it stopped. I updated my phone to a Galaxy s23 ultra mostly to get this feature. The dealership's repair shop had the car a couple of days with my phone and both keys, & were unable to fix it. They will let me know next week if they have a solution. Yeah.
As the key fobs seem to function correctly, I'm still wondering if it is my phone at fault. The shop mentioned communication between the FBD5 aerials and BCP fails, and said they fixed it, but nothing had changed when I returned home from the dealership's shop.

I am tempted to go the iphone route, but need to see if it is the car, or the phone before spending more $ and getting into a completely different operating system. My watch, and phone are both samsung & the computer is not a Mac.

Could somebody walk me through the procedure of removing the feature from my BMW app (or perhaps deleting and reloading the app if I will not lose trip & charge data), and then reloading the digital key plus to see if it starts working again? This system has me a bit overwhelmed.

Problem solved!
The digital key plus works properly now! Eventually before yesterday, even the key card stopped functioning. This was the fix:
The old car was still lingering in the Bluetooth settings as a saved device in the phone. Removing that, so the phone was only looking for one BMW from the Bluetooth side of things is what allowed the digital key to be re-added to the samsung wallet. Also entirely deleted the digital key from the Samsung wallet to start fresh with that too. The key was then re-enabled and also reloaded into the digital wallet, while in the car with both keys & phone running the app. It was not necessary to remove the MyBMW app from the phone and reload it.

While the 2020 x3m40i couldn't use a digital key, it still synced with bluetooth. When the X3 was removed from the MyBMW app and the Xdrive50 added, the bluetooth reference still was in the BT phone settings and I'm not sure why this caused a problem, but it did. This may only happen with the Samsung s23 ultra, or in this specific combination of events as above. For some reason it worked for a while, then stopped. Possibly due to an update to either the phone or the BMW.

My take from this, is that anyone having a problem with the digital key or digital key plus may want to remove all but the car in use from the bluetooth setting menu.
