The charging always start immediately (to check available charging power?) and will stop after a minute or two. Charging will restart later within the set charging window

its not an issue, its a function so be happy about it because it calibrates the charging rate. Others it wouldnt be able to know when to start charging to be able to reach your charging goal at the right time.

 

Hi - I had the same issue and it was fixed with a software update. I took it back to the dealer and when they did a diagnostic it showed up the error.

 

I had the same issue with my iX1 after the last software update. It started charging immediately and the charging plan is replaced by one assuming "charge immediately". Basically it seems that you have to wait longer than previously for the vehicle to handshake with the charger to then send the "stop charging" message. The vehicle will then enter into the original charging plan (time slot) you set. Some report a waiting time of 5 mins although mine is around 2-3 mins.
