No option to upgrade to the B&W system? Just straight downgrade?

It was my question as well, but I was advised that they are both from the same company and they keep it for the higher spec M versions.

Just check the website. All features for the Ix 50 are now are available. Including B&W and was confirmed with dealers. Those who put their order in early this year will have the specs they ordered and paid a deposit. Delivery for moray orders will be q1, q2 2023.

This is what my dealer said as well. Hopefully they honour it.

@Saman & @Jamesdm - you are lucky if your dealer confirmed that the Active steering, Air suspension and indulgence package (interior camera, crystal button, B&W 42 speaker system) are available in IX50. My dealer here in Melbourne mentioned that they are not available until Q2 2023, hence I have decided to delay my order further until those are available. Not sure why there so much discrepancy between dealer all over Australia?

By delaying, are you going to lose your spot and start from the beginning? Or you have the priority?
When did you put your order?

It would be on a priority order as soon as those specs are available my order will go in before anyone else considering how long I have been waiting for that car. I put my order in Nov-21. Still bamboozzled how different dealer have different information. Looks like you will be getting your IX50 before me, if every specs in your contract, stays.

I m not sure if they honour what they say as dealers are dealers. I believe it when I see it myself after decoding the VIN. I ll update you of I get any myself!
I think you made a good decision as I hate to have a car model year lower just for few days when its built end of the year.

No I don’t have any, but he told me that shortly he would give me one, probably by end of this month!
I honestly cant settle with inferior sound system, as I originally told them I wanted BW system when he told me it wasn’t available, so I settled with HK, but now if not available, I definitely would not get it as they put in my wife’s car ( although we opted for HK ), and it’s awful ( my wife doesn’t care luckily)

Different dealers said different things. The only way you can confirm your specs is check the build sheet once you have the VIN.

Is the website inaccurate? I can click on air suspension etc for the ix40 where before it would not allow me.

And am I understanding that the sound system in the ix50 is going to be worse than the base HK in the ix40?

So crazy and confusing.

I’m just glad my car is built and on a ship.

This is not just bad but very disappointing. It feels like a loser to wait for a year and not to get what you were hoping. Obviously we are living in an area of war and post Covid which is unique. Honestly, I m not sure even later we get those inclusions. At least we are not fighting for our life, and just a matter of having or not having a luxury of a car.
This is bad enough to lose all of interest as a car enthusiast, but I remain hopeful that in the near future ( who knows when) we get back to our old normal!!

Are you getting B&W diamond surround sound system, Crystal buttons, interior camera and Active integral steering? Have your dealer confirmed those specs?

B&W wasnt included in the spec sheet, but every standard inclusions still present, i.e. active steering wheel, and air suspension.
He said there is a chance that the production date can be pushed forward, but who knows what may happen!!

Your dealer is correct, as my production date is 26 of June 2023, that’s why they are all available.

fingers crossed mine is somewhere in April-23, nice to see you are getting everything which now looks somewhat promising for my order
